The new prints are here and I finally created a new shop link here on my website.
Making prints of my artwork is something people have been asking me to do for as long as I can remember. However I’ve always been very hesitant about it. My work is not very easy to translate on a paper format. The most significant parts of my paintings, the 3D effects, the shiny colors and black lines are not very easy to photograph and print on paper. I’ve struggled with that for many years. The 2D format of the prints makes my work a little flat and the spark of the original painting was always missing.
Having said all of that I found a way of getting a few prints that do my work better justice. After years of trying to get some positive results on paper I finally managed to get 3 prints that come the closest to my original paintings. New prints and a new shop page
All prints will be signed and numbered in limited editions of 50. Also the prints are custom trimmed with one inch border for framing. To achieve the desired visual results each artwork is printed on a different acid-free, high quality giclee paper. All prints are guaranteed archival standards.
For the very small prints I’ve used Aurora white paper and some lightly textured premium giclee paper. For the bigger prints I’ve chosen Hahnemuhle William Turner paper with matte watercolor texture.
